New members
We are always looking to welcome new members into the club no matter your level of photography expertise. Our syllabus offers a variety of interactive workshops, challenges, lectures and critique nights, meaning there is a mixture of photography skill development and collaborative work.

The skillset of our members ranges from beginner to expert, so there is always someone you can speak to if you’d like to improve your photography skills or meet like-minded people. We offer a buddy system for new members so that you can have a go-to member of the club who can answer any questions you have and help you get to know your camera.
We also look at photo editing on software such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Affinity, and often have workshops that focus on specific editing techniques.
We meet every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm at Batley Community Centre, Upper Commercial Street, Batley WF17 5DH. From September – May we meet here and follow a syllabus which has been well thought out to include a range of activities. Throughout June, July and August we meet at various locations for practical photography evenings. Some of these places have previously included Leeds city centre, Goit Stock Waterfall, Little Germany in Bradford, lavender fields in York and
Sandal Castle.
Take a look at our syllabus for dates and events.
